THREADS was born in a basement in Florissant, Missouri in 1993 with only one embroidery machine. In 1994 we moved into a store in downtown St. Louis named Gus' Fashions. After two years at Gus' we moved into the shopping malls. When we started at Crestwood Mall in 1998, we were crammed into a 10' x 10' kiosk. We stayed at Crestwood Mall for 12 years until we moved to South County Mall.
